Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years experience; circulate, General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), Liver resection, DaVinci XI, and DV5 University, all within the last 3 years. Academic health center, teaching hospital, complex cancer-related care, and high-acuity experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Scrub experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: Locals accepted for Surgical Services positions; IN residents are considered local. IN RNs are generally not allowed to work at IU Health facilities; exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Travelers are expected to work charge if asked and if duties are within their job scope.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Call required: 40-60 hours per 6 weeks - can vary. Holiday coverage may be required.
