References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Required Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN. Blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, start/maintaining IVs. High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, trach care/management. Feeding tube care/management, heparin protocols, pacemakers/temp/perm, telemetry-on the unit monitoring. Use of rapid response/code teams, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains.
Special Requests: RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted upon submission.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Complex care unit for Medicine, ortho overflow and complex long term patients.
Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 day/night rotation, 7a-7p/7p-7a. Every other weekend. Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.
Floating Requirements: Will be required to float within skillset to Med Surg.
