Required Skills/Experience:
- MICU and/or SICU experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Special Requests:
- Will consider block schedule for day/night shifts.
Unit Details:
- Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.
- Cares for comprehensive medical ICU patients including ARDS, AHRF, COPD, sepsis, cardiac surgery, and ECMO, plus surgical/trauma/neurosurgical SICU patients including head injury, trauma, stroke, TBI, and general surgery; some pediatrics.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Rotating shift availability preferred to meet flexing census.
- No rotating shifts within 48 hours.
- Weekend needs will vary based on the needs of the unit.
Floating Requirements:
- Primarily within Critical Care Division. Will, however, float as needed to other units as census needs.
- ICU department includes a medical ICU and a Level 1 surgical/trauma/neurosurgical SICU, with assignments to both units as census and needs dictate.
