Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neurosurgical experience preferred.
Open-heart experience preferred.
Unit Details:
ICU ratios are 1:2, or 1:1 for special populations. Step-down ratio is 1:4. The ED uses the ICU ratio when caring for holds.
Shift & Scheduling:
Request at least 2 from each shift; work every other weekend.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Comfort with floating to the ED and step-down unit is required.
