Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of experience with no gaps.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least one year of EP lab scrub experience in the sterile field is preferred; more experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit Details:
The unit averages 3-4 cases per day.
Common cases include ablations for fib, flutter and VT; ICD, pacemaker, Bi-V ICD and Watchman devices; and EP studies.
Nurses circulate and monitor in a sterile environment.
Uses MacLab/Cardiolab and Biosense Webster mapping.
Cardiologists are in the lab during the day, on half call after hours, and in clinic on off days.
EP coverage is currently available on Monday and Thursday; an interventionalist can perform some procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday through Thursday.
Travelers are expected to attend education on Friday.
On-call coverage is 3 nights per month (5p-7a).
Weekend on-call coverage is 1 weekend, Friday-Sunday.
Holiday call follows a four-person call rotation, and travelers are expected to take call.
On-call response time is 20 minutes.

Floating Requirements:
There is no floating to IR; floating is to the Cath Lab to assist with circulating and monitoring.
