Additional Information
Unit Details:
- Provides care for geriatric and adult medical-surgical/telemetry patients.
- Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend rotation.
- Not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census; if called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Floating Requirements:
- May be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus.
- Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.
- If the traveler has critical care experience, may occasionally float to CCU.
