Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Credentials:

• Basic medication exam required.
• Proctored rhythm identification test required once started; two chances; not multiple choice.

Unit Details:

• Observation unit supporting the heart/vascular service line, including CICU, CVICU, stepdown cardiac, stepdown vascular, and CICU stepdown patients.
• Cares for low acuity critical care patients awaiting placement in heart/vascular ICUs or stepdown units, as well as presurgical and same-day procedure patients who may need extended monitoring prior to discharge home.
• Accommodates LVADs, 2-4 drips, arterial lines, and PA catheters. No ventilators, CRRT, IABPs, or Impellas.
• Fast-paced unit with high patient turnover and a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures and diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No call.
