Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have LDRP experience.
  • Must have 2 years of experience; will consider 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel experience.

Special Requests:

  • Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
  • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details:

  • Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections.
  • Must be comfortable assisting with catching baby and transitioning baby.
  • Patient population includes 33 weeks and above, high-risk, preeclampsia, diabetic, psych/social issues, and positive illicit substance use.
  • Titrate drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin.
  • Centricity Perinatal is used for EFM.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend; nights work Friday and Saturday.
  • Holidays rotate in with permanent staff.
  • Standby response time is 45 minutes.
  • Block scheduling is available when requested in the contract.

Floating Requirements:

  • Float within the department to Mother Baby/Postpartum; no floating to NICU or outside the department.
  • Labor travelers must have routine mom and baby competencies and be able to transition babies and attend low-risk deliveries.
