You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Conscious sedation, telemetry, triage, and vents preferred.
Preferred Credentials: CPEN preferred.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Common presentations include abdominal pain, fever, stroke, chest pain, basic trauma, and foreign body concerns. Common procedures/skills on the unit include PIV insertion, nasogastric tube insertion, central line maintenance, Foley catheter insertion, and basic drip maintenance.
Shift & Scheduling: Day shift 7:00 - 19:30 or night shift 19:00 - 7:30. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Float to other UCSF units and facilities as needed.
