Travel Nurse (RN) - Oncology Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
1 year Med-Surg/Oncology or 1 year Oncology, inpatient only.
Experience and competence in drug titration.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Med-surg and infusion experience preferred.

Special Requests:
Block scheduling with no specific days may be approved based on facility requirements and must be listed on the submission form.
RTO must be made up on the back end.
RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment.
Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes oncology/hematology, some med-surg overflow, and comfort care.
Patient ratios are adjusted for certain chemotherapy regimens and are estimates, not guarantees.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week; the selected option must be indicated on the submission form.
Weekend hours are as required by the facility.
No call.
Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements:
Floats on a rotational basis within the med-surg cluster only.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
