Travel Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Level III NICU experience required. Traveler must have experience with IVs, central lines, OG/NG feeds, and phlebotomy skills.

Unit Details: Neonatal patient population. Care for 22 week gestation and above. Level IV NICU with private and semi-private patient rooms. OR and MRI in unit. Uses Mobile Heartbeat/Connected Care for patient alarms and communication.

Shift & Scheduling: Schedule is created in 6 week blocks and may vary based on census and staffing needs. They generally will not switch clinicians between day and night within the same week; during orientation, a day shift may be followed by a night shift to complete hours. Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float within scope to all pediatrics.

Special Requests: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
