Travel Nurse (RN) - Nurse Management

Required Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, epidemiology, medical technology program, or other healthcare related field.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Former leadership experience preferred.

Unit Details: To start, this role will be the only person working in the department; the unit is hiring 2 full-time staff and hoping to have 2 contract infection preventionists until the full-time roles are filled. Common duties include device rounding and EOC rounding; may also assist with orienting new staff once hired. Focus areas include healthcare-associated infections, device-related infections, communicable disease, and SSI surveillance. Covers all patient care areas, including inpatient, emergency department, surgery, procedural, and ambulatory areas. Uses Epic Bugsy. Rounding occurs regularly across procedural, inpatient, and ED areas; safety huddle every morning at 0830.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible start and stop; must be in by 0830 at the latest. Mon-Fri. Occasional weekend review of construction activity. No holiday requirement. No call.
