Required Skills/Experience: Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines. Antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to circulate and recover cesarean sections preferred.
Required Credentials: Basic Fetal Monitoring.
Special Requests: If the candidate worked at a permanent facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that permanent facility. Cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. At least 1 reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to. No previous employment allowed at this facility.
Unit Details: Common patient diagnoses include gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia. Titrates oxytocin, insulin, and epidural drips. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators. Telemetry is available, and RNs read strips on OB. Uses GE Centricity EFM system.
Shift & Scheduling: Possible varied day/night assignment with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. Every other weekend. Either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule; must be available and present to work within 30 minutes if on call.
