Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years’ experience as a critical care RN (i.e., ER & ICU) in a hospital setting may be accepted substitute for PACU nurse experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care and surgical nursing experience is a plus.

Unit Details: Caring for patients pre-op and in Phase I and Phase II recovery. PACU cares for patients after surgery, including assessing incision sites, monitoring body temperature, and tracking stability or complications. Uses Epic, PCA pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV pumps, Cryocuff, SCDs, Bair Paws warmers, HP monitors, and Phillips monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours across days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift preference is not guaranteed. On-call 0-3 times per month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays).

Floating Requirements: May work between ASU and PACU.
