Travel Allied (Respiratory Therapist) - Respiratory Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Trach experience required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in floor care therapy and 2 years’ experience with intensive care therapy.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• NICU level 4 with L&D and PICU level 1 trauma and transplant experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Basic floor care respiratory therapy: nebulizers and MDIs, bronchial hygiene (CPT), volume expansion (PEP), CPAP and BiPAP for all ages (infant to geriatric).
• Works across NICU/PICU and adult patient populations.
• Uses Servoi, SiPAP, Sensormedics 3100A (HFOV) ventilators, blood gas analysis, ventilator extubation protocols, and supply/medication Pyxis machines.
• Lead Therapist support available 24/7, with additional support staff during regular business hours.

Floating Requirements:

• Typically assigned to adult floors or adult ICUs as needed; NICU cannot be guaranteed every shift, and permanent staff are prioritized for NICU.
