Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years recent Psych experience required.

Unit Details:
Adult patient population includes depression and suicidal patients on the 100 level, severe mental illness on the 200 level, a mix of both on the 300 level, and a small detox unit.
Patient mix is approximately 40% voluntary admissions and 60% committed patients; committed patients are temporary for 8 days before transfer.
Duties include using a medication cart, administering medications, admissions, discharges, and 10-15 patient assessments daily.
May need to manage aggression, including some physical holds.

Shift & Scheduling:
Must be flexible to work any nights of the week, including every other weekend.
Every other weekend and 1 holiday per winter season are required.
