Travel Nurse (RN) - Postpartum

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• High-risk post-partum experience preferred.
• Level 2 nursery experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios are typically 3-4 couplets per RN.
• Day and night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 1 desk PCT, with RNs based on census.
• Uses Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring; EMR includes CPN.
• Typical procedures include POC glucose monitoring, breastfeeding support, post-partum hemorrhage management, assisting with circumcision, and hypertension assessment/management.
• Busy post-partum unit caring for high-risk patients; low-risk patients are separated out on a free-standing LDRP across the street.
• Hospital delivers between 400-500 babies per month.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Scheduling is flexible, and the unit is willing to work with the traveler.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
