Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and cases include neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and postoperative care.
Specialty equipment includes temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo.
Chronic ventilator patients who are unable to wean are cared for, with respiratory therapy assistance.
The patient population is adults age 18 and older.
Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
