Preferred Skills/Experience:
Acute care Utilization Review in a hospital setting is preferred and has to be recent experience; candidates with insurance UM experience will be considered.
Preferred Credentials:
PRI and Screen certification is preferred.
Unit Details:
Acute care Utilization Review/discharge planning and Utilization Management experience is pertinent to success in this assignment, which operates much differently than other Case Management roles.
Travelers receive 3 days of training and are expected to function at full capacity.
Nurse-to-patient assignment is unit based.
Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule is Monday-Friday.
