Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Special Requests:
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years.
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrubbing is preferred but not required.
Unit Details:
15-28 cases per day.
Common cases: tonsils/hypospadias/rectus muscle/craniotomy/cardiac/ortho.
The midnight RN will be the charge RN.
Shift & Scheduling:
The shift schedule includes 2 8-hour and 2 12-hour shifts.
Rotational coverage of afternoon and weekends when permanent staff are requesting off.
1 call shift per week.
1-2 weekend call shifts.
Rotating holiday coverage.
Mandatory standby requirement with a 30 minute response time.
Floating Requirements:
Floating required to 5N/1W & Childrens.
