Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers not accepted. Registered Nurse – outpatient clinic infusion (2 years of experience required).
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for patients with GU cancer (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular), hematology (lymphoma, multiple myeloma, CLL), and sarcoma. GU, hematology, and sarcoma exam clinics are located in the building with providers on-site. Lab, blood bank, and pharmacy are located in the building. Charge nurse is out of staffing, and an average of 2 nurses are out of staffing and available to help nurses on the unit. Nurses will care for 6-7 patients per shift with only 3 patients at a given time.
Shift & Scheduling: 5 x 8-hour shifts from 0730 to 1600; can also do 4 x 10-hour shifts from 7:30-18:00. No weekends or holidays.
