References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Strong PICU, NICU, and peds floor experience required. EEGs required. Micro-premie and pre-/post-cardiac surgery experience required. PICU experience must include medical patients, pre- and post-op cardiac patients, ECMO patients, and INO delivery. NICU experience must include micro preemies, pre-op cardiac patients, and knowledge of 3100-A and INO delivery. Required vent experience: Hamilton G5, Hamilton C-1, and 3100-A. Familiarity with cystic fibrosis patients is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. VDR experience preferred.
Unit Details: Inpatient acute respiratory care department providing full-spectrum respiratory care services across NICU, PICU, peds, and adult populations. Provides support in the NICU, PICU, emergency department, and pediatric and adult acute/intermediate care wards. Provides therapeutic interventions including airway management, therapeutic gases, ventilator management, and newborn resuscitation. Performs diagnostic procedures including arterial blood sampling, bedside spirometry, spontaneous ventilatory parameters, and point-of-care testing. Neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: No call.
Floating Requirements: Peds is the primary role during the contract, but floating to adult acute care is expected. Coverage of peds floor is also expected as needed.
