Required Skills/Experience:
Must have cardiac experience. Strong critical care experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, and Impella skills are preferred.
CRRT is preferred.
Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details:
Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Philips telemetry monitors.
Procedures performed on the unit include central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations.
The unit has a growing cardiogenic shock program with providers specializing in this patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
4-week schedules are used, with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period.
Floating Requirements:
Float to other units as needed, depending on unit census.
