Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage (we try not to do these on the unit), and triage issues.
Duties include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C/S).
Uses fetal monitors and Fetalink documentation.
Shift & Scheduling:
3 days a week, rotating.
