Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years stepdown experience, experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) and must know how to interpret heart rhythms.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients.
Preferred Credentials:
- BSN preferred.
Unit Details:
- Recovery of patients following vascular and electrophysiology procedures.
- Cares for patients with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure.
- Provides cardiac monitoring, titration of multiple intravenous medications, and conscious sedation for cardioversions.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step Down, and Cardiology Tele Step Down.
