Unit Details: Provides OT evaluations and treatments for Activities of Daily Living (ADL), with assessment of strengths, range of motion (ROM), and function for both inpatients and outpatients. Offered services encompass group therapy, recreational programs, library access, vocational therapy, creative arts, essential life skills training, massage therapy, gait training, and muscle retraining. Areas of treatment include activities of daily living; sensory integrative functioning; designing, fabricating, and fitting of orthotics and self-help devices; psychosocial functioning; and upper extremity motor functioning. Acts as activities consultant for the LTC and hospital and may provide all OT services for a specific unit, center, or facility. When necessary, drives patients in hospital van.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri schedule; flexibility of work hours may occur. Must be able to work Saturdays, no exceptions.
