Required Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Unit Details: OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Performs professional occupational therapy activities including planning, evaluating, establishing, and implementing individual and group treatment activities under physician direction. Evaluates independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and various psychosocial skills; develops treatment plans involving short- and long-term goals, frequency, and duration of treatment; assists patients through the design and fabrication of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, joint protection, and body mechanics; informs patients and families of goals and progress; assists with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans; may supervise students.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
