Required Skills/Experience: Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months. First-time travelers not accepted. Must have experience in vents, titration of pressors, and insulin drips. Titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. Some ICU experience or high acuity stepdown required due to the high acuity of this unit. Need travelers who have proficient experience with titration of vasopressors (Levophed, Nicardipine, etc.), continuous IV sedation, art lines, cardiac arrhythmias, chest tubes, and trach-vented patients. BiPAP, OptiFlow, and art line experience are non-negotiable. RN needs to know how to troubleshoot vent alarms. Special Requests: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Required Credentials: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Government issued ID required.
Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, depending on rotation. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to floors that are lower acuity.
