Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Infusion Center

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Monitoring chemotherapy, administration of chemotherapy, Pediatric Oncology, and MedSurg experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:

• RTO is due at time of submission.
• All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on unit/manager's needs.
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (peak: August–September).
• If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

Unit Details:

• Infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.
• Patient population includes sickle cell disease, vascular malformation, and benign hematology.
• Simple blood transfusion, IV pain management, manual exchange phlebotomy, IV antibiotics, IV Rituximab, study visits and labs, central line access and management, peripheral lab sticks, peripheral IV insertion, and EKG.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend requirement: No.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float between 2 departments, based on needs.
