Required Skills/Experience:
First-time travelers are accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
Special Requests:
Any past UnityPoint Health employee who was an FTE or PRN member of the UnityPoint Health float pool cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UnityPoint Health rather than as an FTE or PRN employee, this separation policy does not apply.
Unit Details:
Unit drips include cardiac, heparin, insulin, and some titrated drips.
The patient population includes all post-surgical and post-cath patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
Every third weekend.
Travelers are required to work 1-2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Travelers must be willing to float to the ER and ICU if needed.
