Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:
At least 1 travel assignment required.
Experience in a larger facility with comparable ORs (20 ORs) required.
Circulating experience required.
da Vinci robotic experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrub experience preferred.
General surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI skills are a bonus; not all are required.

Required Credentials:
Associate degree or certificate required.

Special Requests:
A personal vehicle is required; Uber/Lyft cannot be used because of on-call responsibilities.

Unit Details:
Assignment is on the OR general team.
The OR handles all specialties and approximately 40-60 cases per day, averaging 45.
The clinician may be asked to perform downtime tasks as needed.

Shift & Scheduling:
Variable 8-hour shifts include 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930.
On-call commitment is 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekend calls during the 13-week contract.
A 30-minute response time applies; the traveler must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes.
Call-back minimum is 2 hours.
Low census may result in the traveler being placed on call for 36 hours during the contract.
Weekend work is for call only; holiday rotation applies.

Floating Requirements:
May float to Aspirus Merrill, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley if needed.
