Required Credentials:

• You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding; this is a pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with 2 attempts allowed.
• ENPC cannot replace PALS.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details:

• Uses Phillips monitors.
• Cares for trauma and burn patients; pediatric patients are transferred out.
• Includes 30-40 psych holds.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretion.
• Holidays based on unit coverage.

Floating Requirements:

• ER float positions will require floating between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, and the two freestanding ERs in Litchfield Park and Glendale; facilities are about 30 minutes apart and floating can occur midshift. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance so clinicians are aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
