Required Skills/Experience:
Pediatric and adult experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
NICU experience is not required but is preferred.
Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Assignments are based on acuity, with approximately 25-30 acuities per shift.
Ventilators are used on the unit.
Hospitalist and intensivist coverage is in-house but not 24/7; both are on call after hours.
The typical population is inpatients requiring respiratory therapy.
Pharmacy is in house until 10 pm; after hours, 24/7 access is provided by Dominican Hospital with auto-verification and an on-call pharmacist.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Work into the permanent staff holiday schedule.
Floating Requirements:
First to float every other weekend.
