Unit Details:
Provides direct patient respiratory care treatments and assists in evaluating patients with respiratory illness.
Work includes respiratory therapy in various critical care units, general respiratory care, and adult and pediatric emergency rooms, including ventilator management, arterial blood gases, CPAP/BIPAP, O2 therapy, CPT, aerosolized medications, CPR/code team participation, and computerized documentation.
