Travel Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Med-Surg or inpatient rehab experience required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity preferred.

• Local candidates are not accepted.
• Must fulfill the full 13-week contract.

Unit Details:

• Free-standing acute inpatient rehabilitation facility serving adults with high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation needs, including stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
• Unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit; nurses are expected to help CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety.
• Uses mobility equipment including ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Plus, slide boards, vital machines, EKG machine, BGM, and computers for charting.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• Call required.

Floating Requirements:

• No floating currently; may be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 mins in the near future.
