Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
Neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient population.
Patient population includes post-op open hearts, single ventricles, complex cardiac anatomy/physiology, heart transplant, and heart failure.
Unit procedures and clinical context include invasive cardiac monitoring (CVP, ART, RA, etc.), ECMO & CRRT exposure or experience, vasopressors, cardiac gtts, and sedation gtts.
Available support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and a unit secretary.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend coverage is every other weekend, 3/6 weekends per contract.
Floating Requirements:
Float to PICU, NICU, and Med/Surg.
