Required Skills/Experience:
• General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps, mobilizing patient post-op, back and neck brace use.
• Skilled in assessing and managing acute and chronic pain, including with those with a history of substance abuse. Will use multiple modalities to help alleviate pain, including opioid administration.
• Must be comfortable with post-op neuro and spine care, including providing education to patient and family.
• Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking is free
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Floating Requirements: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital
