Travel Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Float Pool

Special Requests:
RTO expectations: No more than 5 days; if 5 days are taken in a row, a week may be added to the back end.
Travelers do not work on a holiday; however, they are expected to work the days surrounding the holiday. Depending on how many holidays occur during a traveler's contract, they must be available for the days surrounding 1-2 holidays.

Unit Details:
The Med-Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units and adapts to varying patient populations and unit workflows.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on standard Med-Surg units and may vary slightly based on unit acuity and staffing.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Floats across all inpatient Medical-Surgical units at Temple University Hospital and Temple Women's and Families, plus step-down units and the ED for Med-Surg holds.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
