Required Skills/Experience: 2 years critical care experience required.
Preferred Credentials: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Unit Details: Patient population spans pediatric to geriatric. Provides pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education. Individualizes patient care according to the procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care. May support pre-admission testing (PAT), including reviewing orders for appropriateness and potential omissions based on proposed surgery, patient age, and current state of health.
Shift & Scheduling: STEMI on-call requirement is 10-12 shifts per month with 1 to 2 weekends (Friday 5 pm-Monday 7 am), which is counted in the 10-12 shifts.
