Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Unit Details: Fast-paced, high-acuity critical care department caring for some of the most critically ill patients in the Nashville area. Frequently receives patients from across Tennessee and beyond. Major service lines include cardiothoracic surgery, open heart recovery, and neuro/neurosurgery. Provides ICU-level care for COVID-19 patients, including ECMO. Patient population includes cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, post-cardiopulmonary arrest, and post-ventricular assist device placement patients. Serves adolescent through late adult patients (14 - 60+).
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules.
