Required Skills/Experience: 1 year RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR required. Cardiac interventional cath experience required. Experience scrubbing for procedures required.
Required Credentials: ARRT certification required.
Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.
Unit Details: Functions independently as scrub nurse and circulator. Includes pre- and post-procedural RN care. Typical procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, CTO and high-risk interventional cardiac cath, pacemaker implants including leadless, Watchman procedures, atrial and ventricular ablations, tilt tests, TEEs, PE thrombectomies, TAVR, intra-aortic balloon pumps, chest tubes, Impella, transvenous or temporary pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation. Uses Phillips imaging equipment. Adult and geriatric patients.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call required: at least 1 weekday call shift and 1 or more weekend call shifts per month; includes weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be able to respond to STEMI callbacks in less than 30 minutes.
