Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
1+ years of telemetry or higher experience is required.
EKG competency and rhythm interpretation is required.
Required Credentials:
ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree of Nursing is preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient assignments average 3-5 patients, depending on acuity and shift.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night weekend shifts are Friday and Saturday nights.
Usually about 5-6 weekend shifts are scheduled in an 8-week period, with a maximum of 8; fewer may be scheduled depending on staffing.
No scheduled call shifts; you may be placed on call if the hospital does not need you that night at the beginning of the shift.
Floating Requirements:
May be required to float to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
Floating is based on date.
