Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurology Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year Tele, inpatient only. Experience and competence in drug titration.

Special Requests: Blocked scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements. RTO must be made up on the back end. RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment. Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment.

Unit Details: Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7; ratios are not guaranteed and assignments are adjusted based on circumstances. Uses telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. Cares for neuro, med, and med-tele patients. Cares for patients post-trauma, post-surgical interventions, and those with medical comorbidities.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Weekends as required by facility. No call. Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements: Will float on a rotational basis.
