Travel Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Rehabilitation Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Inpatient rehab experience or Med Surg required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.
• 2 years of clinical experience in any clinical setting or 1-year of acute care experience.

Unit Details:

• Adult patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs.
• Specialized programs include stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
• 70% of patient cases are referred from a trauma center.
• Unit can be high acuity at times and functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit.
• All nurses are required to help CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety.
• Uses ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Plus, slide boards, vital sign machines, EKG machine, BGM, and computers for charting.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• Call required.

Floating Requirements:

• Not currently floating, but may be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 mins in the near future.
