Travel Allied (Interventional Radiology Technologist) - Interventional Radiology

Required Skills/Experience:
IR and neurointerventional experience required.

Required Credentials:
Associate’s degree in radiologic technology.

Unit Details:

• Supports diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Angio Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR, including extracranial and intracranial angiography, vertebroplasty, spinal injections, myelograms, cisternograms, embolizations, cryoablations, coiling procedures, clot retrievals, discograms, aspirations, therapeutic injections, and ablations.
• Provides sterile and non-sterile technical and clinical assistance for neurointerventional procedures, including tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolization.
• Operates advanced imaging equipment for interventional and neurointerventional patient procedures.
• Performs equipment quality assurance checks and assists with supply inventory for IR and Neuro IR procedures.
• Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary.
• Reviews coding procedures for accurate billing of neuro IR and IR procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
On call every other weekend.
