Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Holiday requirement includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
On-call may be assigned for low census; if assigned, RNs must respond within 30 minutes from call-in to arrival at the unit.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes cardiac and respiratory patients.
RNs titrate drips including Levophed, propofol, insulin, dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex.
A hospitalist or intensivist is in house.
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7, with ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment.
RNs read telemetry strips; no monitor technicians are assigned.

Floating Requirements:
The ONA contract requires contract RNs to float first, but work is done to ensure that floats are completed in turn.
