Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 solid years Stepdown + 1 travel contract OR 5 years of solid Stepdown if no travel experience
Required Credentials: Associate's Degree or Certificate
Unit/Facility Details: Patient Population: Post procedure cardiac (cath/stents/interventions, pacers, ICD, ablation), Identify/care of STEMI/NSTEMI, Carotid endarterectomy, Sepsis, Neuro (CVAs, seizures, possible TBI), DKA. Stepdown RNs will take MS/T patients. Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new hires
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six-week schedule. Every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
