Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed with at least 2 years experience and Cerner or Epic EMR experience. Two years in a level 3 NICU. Adult general and critical care. NICU ground transports and nitric oxide administration. Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU – could be the only NICU RRT on nights.
Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU transport experience preferred.
Required Credentials: CRT will be considered with at least 2 years of experience.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. Up to 7 days off may be approved, excluding blackout dates: Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 1/15; Valentine’s Day week: 2/10 – 2/17; Spring Break week; Easter Weekend: 3/30 – 3/31; Mother’s Day Weekend; Memorial Day week: 5/24 – 5/27; Father’s Day Weekend; Labor Day Weekend 9/2-9/4; Halloween: 10/30 – 10/31; Thanksgiving: 11/22 – 11/25; Christmas and New Year’s: 12/23-12/26; 12/31 – 1/1.
Unit Details: Uses Omnicell, Spacelabs, PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo, and Oscillator (3100A).
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Voluntary call. One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.
Floating Requirements: Any like unit/patient location. NICU therapists will also work with adults.
