Required Skills/Experience: Previous experience in Med Surg nursing required.

Unit Details: Interim med/surg manager role focused on department changes and cleanup; seeking a change agent. Responsible for coordinating orientation for new, travel, and agency staff; creating staff schedules and revising staffing patterns; reviewing and revising departmental policies and procedures; coordinating staff education, competencies, and meetings with the Education Specialist and Chief Nursing Officer; overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges; supporting management of intravenous fluids, blood and blood products, and medications with proper documentation; assisting with procurement, evaluation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Uses Epic.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri.
