All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders as soon as possible after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant specialty experience within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / number of beds and the trauma level designation, if any.
Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN, and CNA roles.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with the network; former employees must have left in good status.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. Critical care interventions include continuous ECG rhythm, oxygen saturation, pulmonary artery pressure, and cardiac output monitoring; VV ECMO, VAD, IABP, cardiac pacemakers, care of unstable post-cath lab patients, vasoactive IV medications, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, ventilator management, and ARDS with proning.
Shift & Scheduling: No on-call required. At least every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: May float to other units and Providence Health & Services facilities based on skill set and unit needs, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. If asked to float to Seaside for consecutive shifts, hotel may be provided. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
